Mother's Day Gift Cutting Garden
Cutting Garden in a Box
Your mom deserves bouquets of flowers all summer long, not just on Mother’s Day. Give the gift that keeps on giving. All of our seedlings make excellent cut flowers with good vase life. Plant in full sun.
8 premium seedlings grown with love in Hollis, NH. All are cut-and-come-again varieties, meaning the more flowers you cut, the more blooms they push out. Five of the seedling varieties are hardy annuals ready for planting out in early May: calendula, snapdragon, pincushion flower, rudbeckia, and gomphrena will all survive chilly nights. Lavender is a short lived perennial and will survive for several years.
Cosmos and zinnia are more tender annuals and should wait until Memorial Day before planting out. They can be hardened off outside starting now, but if temperatures drop, they should come inside for the night.
$20 for 8 seedlings, one of each variety (shown below)
